28mm Mujadeen

My local wargaming friend squirreled into the idea of modern combat, got some Canadians all painted up (including a tank) then promptly squirreled out again and sold them.  During this phase, I picked up some 28mm Eureka Mujadeen and got them all painted.  I sold them on Bartertown eventually, as I couldn't see myself gaming with them ever.  :-)

They are however, some of the first pics I took with my new Macromats setup I got on Kickstarter.

Banditos!!!

I am a backer of the Black Scorpion Tombstone Kickstarter and was excited to paint up some Wild West minis, so I ordered a bunch from Meeplemart and slapped some paint on a few.

They painted up easily and I love the character they have.  I still have many more to paint, and will hopefully get a bunch more done when I get back home from work in three weeks.

Painted while Listening to:  Alien: River of Pain

The sequel to Alien: Out of the Shadows, it is a prequel to the Aliens movie.  It focuses on the colony on LV426 before the Marine rescue ship arrives.  It wasn't as good as the first one, but really picked up about half way through the book.  Colin Salmon is one of my favourite actors, and it was great hearing him in this!

15mm Heer Pak 40s & 36s

I didn't have any SS crews for these, but was pretty excited to try them out regardless!  All are from Forged in Battle.

I tried airbrushing the guns using the MIG modulation paints.  It was my first time trying them and they are outstanding!  I also tried out a filter after I was done - first time trying that too, and I think they came out well!

Wow was I blown away with this audio drama!  It has a great cast and good story.  I don't see why they felt the need to bring Ripley in, but the voice actor for her was spot on.  Check it out!
